Jungle Jims

This is Preston at Jungle Jims Playground. It was a like a little kid's Lagoon. Hayden came along too, but he couldn't do much. What a good sport! We had a lot of fun with Aunt Abbie and Aunt Maddie!

At The Park

This was taken around May, when we just moved to Tooele. The parks here are really neat. Preston had a good time as did Casey and I. Preston loves the park. He loves to "swing", "slide", and tries to run away laughing while I chase him down! Anyway, a simple family outing, but so much fun!

My Little Swiss Boy

I simply had to include this picture because this is actually an outfit that I wore at about Preston's age. For some reason I love the "Swiss" thing that's happening. He's not about to start yodling, but he is about to get a big fat kiss for being such a pumpkin. P.S. this photo is a couple months old, but I couldn't resist adding it to the compilation of our other public family photos!

Hayden's blessing

I know it's been a while, but I thought I'd add this picture taken on Hayden's blessing day. We ended up blessing him at my parent's home due to Casey's crazy work schedule and sicknesses and stuff that kept preventing us from doing it any sooner. It was a beautiful day for such a special boy. It's funny. I think we moved into our new house that weekend! A lot of big events happening at once. I feel that we are so blessed!

Easter Sunday

If you'll first notice my
"laundry problem" in the upper right corner then we can move on to the two sweeties sitting in my lap. This picture was taken Easter Sunday before we went off to church, and I just have to tell you that yes, I DID make those "Spainyard" outfits as Casey calls them. After a lot of grumbling, meticulousness, and fretting I finally finished them! And I am very proud of myself. So I won't apologize for bragging. I have to admit though, that the outfits would be nothing without their handsome hosts.

My Hayden Baby

This picture was taken March 1st. Just wanted to share Hayden's super happy face. He laughes so stinken much. All I have to do is giggle or tickle him and he grins and sheiks! This is the best part! He's getting to be so much fun, and Preston loves him too. As I uploaded the picture he was saying "iegh-den iegh-den HI HI HI!" He'll kiss his head and try and tickle his tummy when I've got Hayden on the ground. I can tell that he likes having a brother. What better feeling for a mother than to know that her kids love each other?

Snuggle Buddies

Here is Casey's little buddy! Casey always wants Preston to "have a sleep over" even though none of us get very good sleep when he's in the bed. You can call me a "meany" or "sleepdeprived-rudeyhead" but he's going "nigh-night" in his own bed ;) At any rate, these two are peas in a pod. Partners in crime. Whatever it is . . . except when Preston gets a hold of the toilet plungger. That's ALL him! I love how much Casey loves this cutie baby.

Aquarium Fun

Yesterday I took Preston and Hayden to the Sandy Living Aquarium with Aunt Heather and her two boys, and my mom with Maddie and Abby! Preston was entertained the whole time! I didn't have the picture camera, but we took our camcorder for the memories. Kids under 3 are free and a year pass is only 15 dollars (a day pass is 8, so if you're going to go at least twice it's worth it). I'd even reccomend it for a date night. Preston kept saying "fishy, fishy". He just loves animals. He even pet a sting ray! Slimey, but awesome! It was a GREAT day! There should be days like that more often.

Season of LOVE!

My two little munchkins! I actually can't believe how affectionate Preston is toward Hayden! He's always going up to him and kissing him and laying his cheek on his head. And I know Hayden just loves it! Well, to update you-for Valentines Casey and I ended up going to the temple to celebrate Jessica going through (she and Casey's best friend Kip were going to be married the following Friday). It was awesome! I love the Bountiful temple. Then we went to Famous Dave's. The BBQ chicken is to die for! Casey also got me a cute pair of black high heals. I couldn't stop singing my own version of the RED high heal song. Anyway, I thought I'd share since it's the season of LOVE . . . . sigh!

Happy Valentines My Lovely Family

Here, Preston is sticking a knife in his mouth. I hope this behavior doesn't extend into those "immortal" teenage years. He has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Tricks that I'm sure he'll teach Hayden unfortuantly ;) On a side note, Happy Valentines Day! Casey and I may be celebrating by going to the deluctable Ruby River. We'll see ;) But can I just say onion rings, raspberry lemonade, and ohhh melt in your mouth steak! . . . Although I must add that nothing melts quite like I do in my Honey's arms. He spoils me rotton. I'm a lucky girl . . . but I should probably not push my luck and take that knife away for good. (No children were harmed in the shooting of this photo)

I wish I were an Eskimo

This picture was taken January 17th as Preston insisted we go "side! side! side!" (outside). I expected he would want to go in soon since it hadn't been above 29 degrees, but boy was I wrong! He was totally devistated when I brought him in. I thought the world was coming to an end. But I felt so darn bad that a few hours later I took him back out when he asked me. That boy seriously has me wrapped around his cute little chubby finger!

Hunky-dory Hayden

Here is our little Hayden! He's about 2 months old and has just started smiling when I talk to him! It's really sweet. Preston showers him with kisses, calling him "Hay-neigh". They're going to have so much fun together in a few years. I can't help but wonder if Preston is going to influence this, otherwise mild child to be as energetic and testing as he is. Anyway unless Hayden needs something he's rather quiet, observant, and passive. Not much like Preston at all. He's living proof that every spirit has it's own personality! We love him!

Persistant Preston

This is our little wild monkey, Preston. He's pretty cute as you can see, and as crazy as a firecracker. Casey and I love teaching him new tricks! He teaches himself tricks too which are mostly the daredevil type. His lates stunt is jumping off his toybox onto the couch. This is a follow-up to his airplane balancing act that also ends promptly with a "time out". I have a feeling that stitches are in the near future.
