Kodak Camera

Alright, so here's the long and short of it. If you're looking to buy a digital camera, avoid Kodak brand. Go with something reliable like a Cannon or Nikon. Seriously, they've been jerking my chain hard. I bought a camera of theirs last summer and no less than five months later it malfunctioned for no reason. Okay, so I'm missing all the holidays with my kids on film before they finally send me what I thought was a new camera (This is after three long customer service calls, 14$ of my own money to ship it out, and having it shipped back and forth three times). So, this last month I started having problems again, out of the blue, and guess what? I start looking closer at the camera and there's a sticker on it that says "refurbished." Are you kidding me? So THIS camera lasted a little longer, but come on. It just doesn't have any guts. Well, the company almost put me off saying that it had been a year since we purchased the original camera and that it was out of warranty. I didn't take no for an answer. So instead of giving me a "BRAND NEW" camera, or even reimbursing me for the product (like I would've preferred, so I could spend it on a different brand) they are AGAIN having me send them the camera. Errrr! I've wasted so much time on trying to make this situation better. I pretty much know the UPS store employee's by name. Anyway, it's just frustrating, and I don't feel that I'm being treated fairly as a paying customer. The least I can do is warn others against spending their $ on one of these money, time, and lost memory wasters. Oh, and thanks for letting me vent : )
