Kodak Camera

Alright, so here's the long and short of it. If you're looking to buy a digital camera, avoid Kodak brand. Go with something reliable like a Cannon or Nikon. Seriously, they've been jerking my chain hard. I bought a camera of theirs last summer and no less than five months later it malfunctioned for no reason. Okay, so I'm missing all the holidays with my kids on film before they finally send me what I thought was a new camera (This is after three long customer service calls, 14$ of my own money to ship it out, and having it shipped back and forth three times). So, this last month I started having problems again, out of the blue, and guess what? I start looking closer at the camera and there's a sticker on it that says "refurbished." Are you kidding me? So THIS camera lasted a little longer, but come on. It just doesn't have any guts. Well, the company almost put me off saying that it had been a year since we purchased the original camera and that it was out of warranty. I didn't take no for an answer. So instead of giving me a "BRAND NEW" camera, or even reimbursing me for the product (like I would've preferred, so I could spend it on a different brand) they are AGAIN having me send them the camera. Errrr! I've wasted so much time on trying to make this situation better. I pretty much know the UPS store employee's by name. Anyway, it's just frustrating, and I don't feel that I'm being treated fairly as a paying customer. The least I can do is warn others against spending their $ on one of these money, time, and lost memory wasters. Oh, and thanks for letting me vent : )

I Look at Magna-Doodle People

Hayden drew his first person March 24, 2010
We hadn't even practiced drawing them together.
He's such a smart boy!

This "guy" was drawn May 10, 2010.
I can't stand how cute he is!
Preston also wanted a picture of his drawing
March 24, 2010.
His people have recently included arms.
Sometimes more than two.

Banana Thief

Hayden, what's in your mouth?

A banana? Where did you get that?

That's where it is now, but where did you get it?
Hayden Joseph, that's a big (muffled laugh) no no.
Okay? No. No.

Hayden likes bananas more than pickles.

I Got A Pickle

Hayden loves, and I mean LOVES dill pickles.

This happened right after Hayden asked me
if I liked sea food. I can't believe I fell for it!

Spider Boy

I remember doing this when I was a kid.
Yeah, I'm a little impressed.

Random Pictures

My three handsome boys.
I like big shirts and I cannot lie,
You other mothers can't deny . . .
I really don't know the rest,
and we can thank Shrek for that!

If you've got it, flaunt it!
(These are my black high heels by the way)
After one of our dates,
Casey and I stopped to pick the boys up from Peggy and Ken's.
This is how they were. My heart could literally burst.
Missionary hair. Totally slick. And righteous.
This pretty much says it all.
Preston loves to make Hayden laugh.
He also likes to make a mess while he mixes.
Especially when my back is turned.
My two little angels. Wait, what was I saying a second ago?

Peter Pan's secret identity revealed.
That or Peter Pan was actually reincarnated as my son.
We may never know . . .

Just watching t.v. on a pack of toilet paper.
What could be more natural? or comfy?
The thing I love most about Hayden being asleep
is that I can kiss him as much as I want
without being pushed away, as is often the case.
The thing I love most about Preston being asleep is
that nothing can be destroyed or climbed on,
and I finally have a minute without my shadow.
He's practically perfect at this moment.

Best Buddies. Heart Melters.

Fitzgerald Family Campout

What a handsome, rugged, intelligent, stylish man.
Preston's chipmunk face.
Another silly face by Presto.

Preston didn't let anyone sit in "his chair"
Casey casually told him it was his, but he
took it very literally. It was pretty funny.
Dinner time.
Grammy collecting rocks for Hayden to throw in the stream.
I want to squish that bug with my bare finger. I have no fear.
Blue is my color isn't it?
I'm training to join the circus

Peggy, Kendra, Taylor, Carly, as well as Casey, Preston, Hayden, and I had a fun little camp out up in the canyons. It was nice to go on a camping trip and not be pregnant (like I was the first two summers). The boys were old enough to have a good time getting dirty and wet. That's what the outdoors are all about! Very fun overnighter!

Let's have a Potty Party

These are pictures from Preston's Potty Party this last summer. It was actually a blast even though it was tiring to freak out every two minutes, when he went to the bathroom. I stand by Dr. Phil's method though. Preston had a few accidents for about two weeks, and has been great ever since.

In case you're wondering why I have a picture of the potty doll I used, it's because Preston decided to name him Hayden. It got a little confusing with the technique Dr. Phil uses, but apparently it worked anyway. Potty training actually wasn't that bad-knock on wood.

A Glimpse of Zion

What a stud! Hiking the Narrows
was tough on the feet, but alluring to the eyes.
Especially with Casey around.

Presenting. . . THE NARROWS like I said before
On top of Angel's Landing.
What was I doing that close to the edge?
I swear the elevation kills brain cells.
Angel's Landing is right behind us.
Looks small doesn't it? It isn't.
Observation Point.
a.k.a. point of exhaustion.
Over three hours round trip.

We took this vacation the second week of July for about three days, and did several hikes. It was nice be able to spend so much time with Casey, and to see some amazing sights. We'll definitely be back.

Tiling Job

I just wanted to upload pictures of Casey and Michael's fantastic tiling job. Casey never ceases to impress me. This particular job was done for my parent's new ikea kitchen just before Michael left on his mission. I love that they're such good buddies.

Social Interaction

It was about time for Casey and I to get our act together and do something with other people! Elyse, Steve, Chad and LaRisa came over last night to make homemade pizzas and do a murder mystery. It was fun and funny! It reminded me of how much I enjoyed acting-even though I'm not much good at it. There's really no tale to tell, but it was exciting to hear that my Best Friend is having a baby! She told me that she feels well so far, and I'm glad for that! Babies bring so much joy into the world. I feel very fortunate to be a mother myself. Anyway, everything could've gone wrong that night and I still would've walked away happy because of the great news! I love you, Elyse!

Little Puppies

The boys and I like to pretend we're doggies :)
It's really easy. Just fill a couple of bowls with
water, pant like a dog, and say (barkingly)
"Let's go eat some food". Then get down on all
fours and scamper into the kitchen where cleaning
up spilt water is a breeze! I love my little puppies!
